Have you ever went to websites, like Mojedelo.com or Zaposlitev.net or any other big one?Sure, you will say!

But.. have you ever looked into Employer section?

There is plenty of information that can shed a light on work of biggest employment media!

Website Mojedelo.com, that we all know for biggest career event in Slovenia, is not at all for free! From their website it is evident, that the smallest amount of 30-days advertisement costs at least 275 euro. Ha! And if you want to look on their candidate database it will cost you additional 190 euro. Conclusion: don't limit yourself to searching just there. If you want to cover all available vacancies go to other websites as well! To do them justice, though, i have to confess that they are by far my favourite website! They provide extra-quality services, they are really good, my friends.... But, to our topic: don't limit yourself!

On Mojazaposlitev.si you can find a very interesting article, that in my opinion should be published for jobseekers to see as well. The name is "4 koraki za zaposlitev delavca". Funny thing is, that not a lot of us actually know about the process. And, while you enjoy this new information, pay attention to fist sentence, saying:

Before you employ new worker you have to sign your vacancy at employment office.

Further on it says that employer may or may not ask for their assistance in publishing. What is it for you? Do you remember that lady from employment office, that told you 'come and look at our listings at the office'? Well, she might be a very smart lady, indeed! They have a full list of vacancies before anyone else!

Have the list of vacancies ever been emailed to you? Employers get same email, but with candidates. Nothing special, but just think for a second, how your information will appear on that list? Is it tempting to read your CV?

On the short list of candidates (I mean where it doesn't show full information about candidate, but just some few characteristics) you can actually see a picture of candidate. For some reason, plenty of people opt not to give their shot, that is why CV with picture attracts higher attention.

Moja zaposlitev.si, by the way, have some free advertisement. I think that is why they have much bigger reach. That is why also this guys have to be a little more serious in registration form: they ask for social and tax number. Yet again they want money to look into their candidate database.

Zaposlitev.net has also some partners, from whom the most known are bolha.com, zurnal24.si, mladina.si, partis.si. That is why you can find same advertisement on many websites.

Zaposlitev.net is first job website in Slovenia. It has 97% of their CV from people who don't have university education, and 30% of them have high school. The total number of CV is 46 thousand.

Total number registered user at Mojedelo.com is 190 000.

Zaposlitev.net provide some international search. I know 2 websites from their list -Monster.com and Headhunter.ru. Both of them, last time I checked, had some free basic advertisement. Do Zaposlitev.net use this option or not is unknown. But for their services they want some good money. From the price list you can see that, say for preselection of 10 people with high school or university, you have to pay nearly 1000 euro. What kind of preselection is it, I wonder?
